The English Language Center (ELC) is a program run through Lee University’s TESOL program which allows people from the Cleveland, Tennessee community (normally immigrants or refugees) to learn English for free. Every Thursday night from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., these people come to learn English from Lee University TESOL majors and minors. Lee University’s own students are the teachers and leaders in this program. There are 5 levels of English classes taught at the ELC, from True Beginner to Advanced, as well as a Young Adult and Children's Program.
