Introducing the 2011 Lee University Chapel!


 The chapel is a blend of architectural styles, incorporating elements from the Romanesque, Early Christian, and Neo-gothic periods in church architecture. The material used on the outer building is Texas Limestone and the building is approximately 12,000 square feet. 
The overall tower is 72’ tall and the copper steeple is 48’ tall.
 Seating capacity on the main floor is of 340
  • 200 in the nave
  • 50 in each transept
  • 40 in the choir
24 custom-made pews created by New Holland Church Furniture Custom pulpit.

 The organ is a Rodgers Masterpiece Series 376B The piano is a Steinway D.
 
Custom stained-glass windows created by Emmanuel Studio. Three of the four stained-glass windows have symbols representing core values of Lee University.
 
  • Choir window: symbols of the trinity and Lordship of Jesus Christ 

  • South transept window: symbols of the Poiema project, benevolence , and study abroad programs

  • North transept: the torch, Holy Bible, and olive branches from the Lee University seal
