Dr. Taz Kicklighter serves as an associate professor in the Helen DeVos Collage Education and as the director of the Master of Science in Athletic Training program. He began his career at Lee in 2010 as the assistant athletic trainer and clinical coordinator for the Athletic Training Education Program and joined the full-time faculty in 2013. Later Kicklighter was promoted to director of athletic training education in 2017. Prior to Lee, he was the head athletic trainer and an adjunct faculty member in Health Education Sport Studies at Reinhardt University, assistant athletic trainer at Kennesaw State University, and Outreach athletic trainer for Nova Care Physical Therapy. Kicklighter earned his doctorate in athletic training from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions, his master’s degree from Georgia State University, and his bachelor’s degrees from Carson-Newman College and Kennesaw State University.
