Dr. Mark Wickam joined Lee’s faculty in 1987 and currently serves as professor of health and exercise science. Born and raised in Seymour, Iowa, Wickam has not only served in the classroom but also on the coaching staff as Lee’s tennis coach for 10 years. He commonly teaches classes such as Kinesiology, Nutrition, Exercise in Health and Disease, and Exercise Testing and Prescription. Wickam is the Faculty Athletics Representative for Lee and the NCAA and an active member of the American College of Sports Medicine. He and his wife Lorri have two daughters, Mallory and Madison.
