Kimberly Moffett joined Lee as adjunct faculty, switching to full time in 2004, after teaching for several years in the public schools. For many years she helped local school districts with behavior plans and functional behavior assessments. Her research interests involve children who have experienced trauma and behavioral programs. She is the co-sponsor for the LEE (Lee's Exceptional Educators) Club. She serves on national committees for the Council of Exceptional Children (CEC) and is involved with the State of Tennessee CEC . Moffett also developed a behavior data collection system and application designed for teachers, faculty, and other personnel to improve behavior decisions based on real-time data in schools and other professional environments. She has led the cross cultural trip to Mexico for 16 years and loves to share the experiences with her students.
