Dr. Jason Robinson is an award-winning educator who began teaching at Lee in 2013. As a former public school teacher, he was selected as the Tennessee Teacher of the Year Regional Winner, Bradley County Teacher of the Year, Tennessee Science Teacher of the Year, Vision of Science Award Winner, and was also recognized as one of 12 teachers nationwide for excellence in education. This recognition landed him in a national advertisement that appeared in publications such as National Geographic, Congressional Quarterly, Better Homes and Gardens, Parenting, and Family Fun. He has served as a NASA Solar System Ambassador and on many advisory committees at both the local and state levels. In 2018, Robinson received Lee’s Excellence in Advising Award. In addition to teaching in the Helen DeVos College of Education, he also serves as the faculty mentor for Lee Baseball and co-faculty athletics representative for the university.
