U-Church “An Evening of Worship” Happens Sunday
Lee University’s U-Church series will host “An Evening of Worship,” led by LeeU Worship, on Sunday, Nov. 20, at 7:30 p.m. in the Conn Center.
The service theme is “Joy Comes in the Morning” based on Psalm 30:5 which states that “weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning.”
The worship service will feature original songs written by members of LeeU Worship and will also include a time of communion.
LeeU Worship is a collective of student songwriters, worship leaders, and musicians who have a heart to lead their peers on the Lee University campus through meaningful worship encounters.
The ensemble released an album in 2017 of 10 original songs, ranging in style from a conventional up-tempo layered electronic sound to powerful ballads and a modern hymn based on New Testament text sung by the Early Church.
U-Church is a free, non-ticketed event, open to students, alumni, and the community. Seating is first come, first served.
