POSITION SUMMARY
The CRC Program Manager provides administrative and operational support for the activities of Lee University’s Center for Responsible Citizenship (CRC) and Kairos Honors Program. This position plays a key role in coordinating events, managing program logistics, maintaining office operations, and supporting financial and administrative processes.
Working closely with program leadership, the Program Manager ensures the smooth functioning of daily operations while helping to support the educational and community-building initiatives of both programs.
This position is well suited for someone who is dependable, attentive to detail, and supportive of CRC’s mission of cultivating thoughtful conversation on the questions that connect us.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate CRC event planning and logistics
- Maintain office and meeting spaces used by CRC programs
- Manage purchases, reimbursements, and basic accounting support
- Assist with Honors student scheduling
- Communicate with departments and colleges regarding scheduling needs
- Supervise and train student workers and CRC Fellows
- Maintain calendars and websites
- Support routine communications across CRC and related programs
- Assist with grant financial management and reporting
- Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Administer post-event surveys and compile After-Action Notes
- Support grant compliance recordkeeping and reporting cycles
- Additional duties as assigned by the Program Director
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Clear written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, staff, and external partners
- Proficiency with standard office software and website management tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in event planning, higher education, or program administration
- Experience with budgets, reimbursements, or grant-funded projects
- Experience supervising student workers, staff, or project teams
- Experience with graphic design, website management, or digital communications
APPOINTMENT TERMS
This is a full-time, salaried position funded by a four-year U.S. Department of Education grant. Continued employment during that period is contingent on satisfactory job performance, ongoing grant funding, and adherence to applicable grant compliance requirements. The position requires a standard 8am-5pm Monday-Friday week. Occasionally (twice a semester) time outside of standard hours will be required. Pay is based on prior experience and skills. Employment will conclude at the expiration of the grant period.
