• A major in Special Education (Teacher License Emphasis) prepares teacher candidates for a profession as a special educator in a variety of settings ranging from preschool special education to adulthood. Candidates are prepared, depending on their area of study, to work with students in preschool settings as well as resource rooms, comprehensive classes and inclusion.
