Programs for Mathematical Sciences

Majors
The mathematics program prepares you for graduate study and careers in research, statistics, and actuarial science. Mathematics education programs prepare you for initial employment as mathematics teachers in middle and secondary schools, and entrance to graduate schools. The program emphasizes critical thinking, problem solving, and development of curriculum and pedagogical skills
The Computer Science program (CMPSC.BS) prepares students for careers in computing as well as for graduate study in computer science. The program focuses on providing programming experience, theoretical analysis, and mathematical rigor.
Our 4-year degree in Engineering Science prepares students broadly as future practicing engineers. Our engineering coursework covers the fundamental engineering concepts and provides opportunities for students to utilize their learning in service to their community. The goal of this program is to produce well-rounded Engineering students that are prepared for industry or graduate studies in specialized fields of engineering.
