School of Music to Welcome Guest Artist Pak for Piano Performance

Dr. Hyejin Pak, pianist, will perform at Lee University on Monday, Sept. 23, at 7:30 p.m. in Squires Recital Hall.

The performance will feature works by Beethoven, Brahms, Scriabin, and Chopin.

Pak made her orchestral debut at the age of 12, performing the Mozart Piano Concerto with the Korean Philharmonic Orchestra. She was also a featured soloist with Romanian National Radio Chamber Orchestra.

She has been a top prize winner of several international piano competitions, including the Vancouver International Music Competition, Manhattan International Music Competition, Korean Music Competition, and the Hyupsung University Competition.

Pak received her Doctor of Musical Arts and a Master of Arts in piano performance from the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati.

This event is free, non-ticketed, and open to the public. Squires Recital Hall is located in Lee’s Humanities Center on Parker Street.
