    Dr. Christine Williams joined the Lee University Theatre faculty in 2007. Since joining the program, Dr. Williams has directed The Chairs, The Trojan Women, An Ideal Husband, and The Mach Band Predicament. Christine has worked as a director, producer or designer on more than 20 college, church and community theatre productions including Little Women, The Bald Soprano, Taming of the Shrew and Man of La Mancha. As an actor, she has performed in plays such as How I Learned to Drive at the Toledo Repertoire and as a voice actor for the Colla Marionette's US production of Guerrino Detto il Meschino at the Spoleto International Arts Festival. Chris has published several articles and book reviews on Tudor theatre history in journals such as Shakespeare and Renaissance Selected Papers, Church History and Quidditas, as well as presented papers at several national and regional conferences. Chris earned her M.A. and Ph.D. from Bowling Green State University, and her B.A. from the University of Dallas.
