The Student Development Office, a division of the Student Life sector, seeks to provide a co-curricular program that encourages students to grow and develop intellectually, spiritually, relationally, and emotionally. We hope to help students develop a deeper understanding of what it means to “act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God.”

We work closely with the Student Leadership Council (SLC) and other campus organizations to provide a campus-wide event every Friday evening. We also assist the SLC in providing leadership development opportunities (such as the Student Leadership Development Conference, Focus Leadership Seminar,  and Servant and Leadership Training), service-learning opportunities (like Operation Christmas Child and Great Strides), and opportunities to examine the intersection of culture and Christianity (such as The G.A.P.). We also direct the Alternative Chapel program. Our office also oversees the Summer Honors program for rising high school seniors and college freshmen.

Please explore our website, and if we can be of assistance, contact us: Mike Hayes (mhayes@leeuniversity.edu). Brie McDaniel (bmcdaniel@leeuniversity.edu), or Rosie Holsinger (rholsinger@leeuniversity.edu).
