    Director of Student Success and Retention

    Erin came to Lee as a first-generation college student in 2002. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministry in 2005 and immediately started working full-time in the Records Office at Lee. She continued working full-time as she completed her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling, graduating in 2009. Erin transitioned to the role of Assistant to the Registrar, then Assistant to the AVP of Research and Records, where she was heavily involved in an earlier Title III grant to improve processes and implement a new student information system. She became the Director of Academic Services in 2013 and served in that role until Lee was awarded a Title III grant to create a Student Success Center, after which she transitioned into the role of Director of Student Success and Retention. Erin is passionate about student success and wants to see students accomplish their goals and thrive in both their careers and personal lives after college. She met her husband, Aaron Looney, at Lee and they have three beautiful girls named Raina, Emerald, and Isla. Erin’s strengths are Strategic, Learner, Futuristic, Individualization, and Input.
