Trollinger Joins Lee Cross Country Program

Coach Don Jayroe has announced the signing of another cross country runner for the 2012 season. John Trollinger officially became a Lee University Flame while visiting the campus this past week.

VANCOUVER, Wash. – Junior Said Ahmed was the lone Lee runner at the 2011 NAIA Men’s Cross Country Championships held at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site. Ahmed finished the 8K course 208th out of 312 runners with a time of 26:36.

Walker, Ahmed Earn All-Conference Honors

CLINTON, Miss. – Mike Walker and Said Ahmed earned SSAC All-Conference honors by placing in the top 10 at the SSAC Men’s Cross Country Championships. Walker finished fifth (26:07.60) and Ahmed was sixth (26:31.17).

Coach Don Jayroe recently announced the signing of five new runners for his 2011-12 cross country and track teams. The Lee Flames are scheduled to kick-off the season on Aug. 27 when several teams will come to Fletcher Park for the annual event.
