Housing Assignment Information
For incoming students, parents or even students currently enrolled, there will surely be questions. Below is a list of links, each one leading to a section with information that you may find helpful about exactly how housing assignments work here at Lee University. Remember, if you have any questions feel free to contact the office of Residential Life.

On Campus
Lee University is a residential campus. Due to the benefit to the individual and the University, all single undergraduate students who are not residents of the Cleveland area (12 consecutive months, without being enrolled in Lee University) are required to live in University residence facilities.

Housing Application
Students who are interested in on-campus housing must complete the Residence Hall Application and mail it to the Admissions Center, along with the $200 deposit. Single and married student housing reservations will not be held without the $200.00 deposit. This prepayment goes toward your housing bill and is refundable at your WRITTEN request to the office of Residential Life until 30 days PRIOR to registration. To receive your deposit refund click on Deposit Refund Form and email it to housing@leeuniversity.edu or fax it to (423) 614-8404. Priority for housing assignments are made based on the date of the completed application and deposit. Assignment letters are mailed in May, June, and July for Fall semesters and November for Spring semester. Unfortunately, the University is not able to guarantee particular assignment requests. However, every request is given the best possible consideration.

Summer housing is available.  If you are in need of summer housing, please fill out the Summer Housing Application.

Room Assignments
New students with application and housing deposits are assigned to residence halls on a first come, first served basis. The University reserves the right to reassign students to different residence halls if the need arises. Preferred roommates are asked to submit their housing applications and deposits together. Requests will be reviewed and honored when possible, but cannot be guaranteed. When a preferred roommate is not listed, the Residential Life staff does their best to match students according to the study/sleep habits and preferences indicated on the housing application.
