Sharp and Davis Halls are located on the south part of campus, and residents enjoy close proximity to the Paul Conn Student Union, School of Religion, and Squires Library/Pentecostal Resource Center. The three-story building includes TV lounges on each hall, prayer rooms, and two main lounges on the first floor that include a television, vending machines, a sink and cabinet space, a stove/oven, a full size refrigerator/freezer, and a microwave. In addition, the first floors of Sharp-Davis include a lounge area complete with couches, tables and chairs, and a television. Two coin/card-operated laundry facilities are located on the first floors. Four students occupy a two-bedroom suite with a shared bathroom. The bathroom contains a double-sink, toilet stall, and standup shower. Every bedroom has two extra-long twin beds, two desks with chairs, two chests of drawers, and two closets.
"My passion for positively impacting the lives of college students is why I chose to become an RD. Aside from providing a safe and comfortable home for my residents, I hope to foster a challenging and caring community where my residents will find the opportunity to create real and meaningful relationships and to develop into the women that God has called them to be."
Express Yourself. “The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.” (Galatians 5:6b)
Sharp-Davis is honored to support the 10th Judicial District Children's Advocacy Center -better known as The H.O.P.E Center (Health, Opportunity, Protection, and Encouragement Center) Inc. The H.O.P.E. Center serves members of our community who are victims of domestic violence, victims of rape and sexual assault, and children who are victims of sexual and/or physical abuse. They seek to break the cycle of generational violence through support and education. Through volunteering and advocacy the ladies of Sharp-Davis seek to make a difference at H.O.P.E. Center this year.
