    2013-2014 Theatre Season

    Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap

    October 10-12 & 14 at 7:30 PM and October 12 & 13 at 2:30 PM in the EMC Theatre
“The Mousetrap,” a murder mystery, has the longest initial run of any play in history. The play follows a London inn and its proprietors, a husband and wife, as they investigate their guests to solve a murder.

    Moises Kaufman's 33 Variations

November 1 at 7 PM, 2 & 7-9 at 7:30 PM in the Dixon Center
The play intertwines the story of two geniuses, Beethoven and musicologist Katherine Brandt, as they both face life-altering medical conditions. A story of hope and reconciliation, "33 Variations" traces the development of Beethovens' famed masterpieces from a simple theme by a "nobody" music publisher into some of the greatest works ever written for the piano. In the end both characters learn about hope, resiliency and the human spirit.

    Will Eno's Tragedy: a Tragedy

February 20-22 & 24 at 7:30 PM and February 23 at 2:30 PM in the EMC Theatre
This is an absurdist comedy calling into question our obsession with "breaking news" and forces us to ponder the role of media in our lives.

    Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing

April 4-5 and 10-12 at 7:30 PM in the Dixon Center
This comedic play combines elements of robust hilarity with more serious topics of honor, shame and court politics. The story features two young couples, with amusingly contrasting relationships, and their journeys to sincere love.
