Rules
- Self-Refereeing: Players are responsible for
their own foul and line calls. The
intramural supervisor will step in if needed.
- 6 players per team
- Count by ones
- Forward momentum allows 2 steps after a catch.
You can not step into the end
zone to score.
- Drop and out of bounds are changes of possession
- Fouls will result in change of possession
- Flagrant fouls will result in an ejection,
change of possession, and a 10 yard penalty
- There will be two 15 minute halves and a 2
minute halftime
- Substitutions may be after a touchdown or during
an injury timeout
- Throw off from end zone, every kicking team
member must be on the line
- On a throw off, if a receiving team drops the
Frisbee, the kicking team will gain
possession of the Frisbee
- If the throw off goes out of bounds, the
receiving team has the option of taking it where it
went out of bounds or taking it at midfield.
- If the any throw lands in the end zone. Play
starts at that exact point. If any throw goes out of
the end zone, the Frisbee comes out to the goal
line.
- No more than one person may guard a thrower
- Defender must be one yard away from the person
who possesses the Frisbee. The player with the
Frisbee may not swing the Frisbee or push to create
the yard.
- Defensive team brings an out of bounds disc in
where it went out of bounds
- If a possession change occurs in bounds, the new
team with possession gets the
Frisbee where they pick it up or catch it
- No spiking or bending the Frisbee
- Offense has 10 seconds to throw the disc each
time, if the defender wishes to call
this foul, they must count beforehand. The defender
must be guarding them closely, and only that
defender can count.
- In a self called game, if a foul is called and
both teams accept, there is a change of possession.
If only one team agrees, then the Frisbee goes back
one play.
