Educational Credit |
Students may obtain educational credit for many of the outdoor programs and
trips through the following courses:
PED 132 Outdoor Recreation
A general overview of several outdoor activities including rock climbing,
backpacking and canoeing.
Offered Fall & Spring Semesters
PED 108 Beginning Skiing
An introduction to the skiing fundamentals of stopping and beginner turns.
Offered: Spring Semester only.
PED 109 Intermediate Skiing
Continuation of beginning skiing. Advanced turning, alternate downhill
techniques.
Offered: Spring semester only.
All courses carry additional fees. It is recommended that students meet with the
course instructor prior to registering for these courses. See university catalog
