    Dr. Ung’s research interests include student success theories, academic success of first-generation students, racial and ethnic identity development, and inter-generational ministry models. As a first-generation college graduate, Dr. Ung is passionate about investing in students so they can thrive in their educational journey. In his free time, Dr. Ung enjoys spending time with family, discovering new sports, traveling, board games, exploring cultures, and trying original cuisines.

    Dr. Black’s research interests include business education in higher ed, faculty efficacy in higher ed, business curriculum development, and student learning theories. With experience in the accounting profession and multiple educational setting, Dr. Black’s passion is to help provide enriched learning experiences for students in accounting and quantitative coursework. She enjoys mentoring and advising young people to guide them on their educational journey. In her free time, Dr. Black likes spending time with her family, traveling, hiking, playing board games, and doing puzzles.

    Whit’s research interest include effective and sustainable community development projects in developing countries as well as transformational development projects that integrate physical and spiritual development for the target group. Whit is passionate about the growth and success of individuals and groups that are disadvantaged. He enjoys traveling, spending time with friends outdoors, running, playing the drums, and road trips with his wife.
