Location Furnishings Using the Study Room
We invite Lee University and Church of God Theological Seminary faculty to use the Library’s Faculty Study Room for studying and working on projects. For more information about the faculty study room, please consult a reference librarian for assistance (423) 614-8562.
The Faculty Study Room is located in LIB106 on the lower level of the library.

Computer The Faculty Study Room computer is connected to the Internet and the Lee University campus network. Lee faculty may login to their email accounts and access their “U” drive account.
Network Connection There is a wired network connection and cable for use with a faculty member’s personal laptop computer. Wireless connection will be coming later.
Furniture Furniture in the study room includes a computer table, a larger table where faculty may spread out materials, a small study desk, and three chairs.
Shelving Shelving is available on which faculty may store their materials.
Access Availability. The Faculty Study Room is available on a first-come basis. Key to room. To access the room, faculty may check out and return the key at the Circulation Desk. Shut down. When you are ready to leave, shut down the computer by clicking the “Start” button in the lower left corner, then click “Shut down.” Please do not touch the power button on the computer during shut down.
Leaving materials If you plan to leave library books in the study room, please check them out first. They should not be desensitized whether checked by assistants or through self-checkout. If you leave any personal or library materials in the room, please attach your name to them.
Reference books Please return all reference books to the Reference Area when you leave.
Food and drink You are welcome to have food or drink in the Faculty Study Room. Please take with you any food containers or leftover food when you leave.
