Service-Learning Reflection Questions
Below is a list of general service-learning reflection
questions. They should be applicable to most every
project a student completes. The questions can be
adapted to particular situations, or new ones may be
formulated.
Reflection Questions
- How did my service affect those I served?
- How did my service affect me?
- What are the
natural/social/political/spiritual/moral problems I
encountered? What should be done about these?
- What did I see or hear that has stayed with me?
- What role did my faith play in my actions and
responses?
- What is the connection between what I learned
and how I live my life?
- How does my service experience link with what I
am learning in my classes?
- Why did I/we do the project? Why was it
important or not?
- How does this service experience inform what I
feel I am called to and what my current career path
is?
