Is there a Cost?
- A.
There is no charge for the office visit.
There are minimal charges for labs, vaccines, and
some prescription medications. All over the counter
medications and visits are free.

Can I receive Allergy Shots at the clinic?
- A.
Yes. You must have your original documents
from your allergist and your serum.
You must receive your first injection at your
allergists office before Lee Health Clinic will
administer a dose. Allergy shots will be given while
the doctor is in the clinic.

Can I receive a Physical at the Health Clinic?
- A.
Yes. Most physicals will be performed at a
minimal cost which must be paid the date of service.

Does the Clinic accept and/or file insurance?
- A.
No. We do not charge an office visit
therefore, we do not file insurance. A copy of your
payment can be given in receipt form for insurance
reimbursement. Lee does not sponsor an insurance
however you may check into the following companies:
Sentry Insurance 1-847-564-3600 and Fortis (StateFarm)

Can the Clinic draw labs with a physician order?

Yes. You must have a physician order.
Payment on the day of service is preferred.

Do you have self care for those who have little time
to see a nurse?

Yes. All of our over the counter medicines
are available for self care in our lobby.

When is the physician available?
- A.
We staff a physician everyday.

Where should I seek medical attention if the Clinic
is closed?
- A.
There are several walk in clinics in
Cleveland. Most have late hours and some are open on
the weekends. You may call campus safety at x8390 if
you need immediate assistance. You may also call 911
for emergencies.

I have never been in the clinic, where do I start?
- A.
The clinic is open 8:30-5 MWF and 8:30-10:30,
12:30-5 Tuesday and Thursdays. We function as a walk
in clinic. When you come in simply sign in at the
receptionist’s desk. Once you have signed in we will
pull your information and prepare your chart as you
fill out the appropriate paper work. Once your chart
is ready it will be placed in the back office for
the nurses. The next available nurse will assist
you. If there is a need to see a physician the nurse
will arrange an appointment for you. You may be
asked to come back at a later time if the physician
can not see you immediately. You may also be asked
to come back if the number of patients exceeds the
nursing capability or clinic hours. We stop seeing
patient’s everyday at 4pm to prepare for the next
day.

Can my bill be applied to my school bill?
- A.
No. All bills owed to the Health Clinic must
be paid at the Health Clinic by the end of the
semester.
