Lee University Financial Aid Policy for Global Perspectives Trips

Trip Directors will be responsible for communicating to all trip participants the need to file for financial aid as soon as possible to receive federal money, private loans, and academic scholarships. Money cannot be applied to the student’s business office account until after the first day of summer classes and the following has been completed:
  • All necessary documents have been submitted. Students who want to receive federal funds must have a completed FAFSA on file for the current year. Additional documents may be required for certain loan programs.
  • The student has been awarded for summer.
  • The student has completed registration and confirmed enrollment with the Business Office (this is not the same as making the trip down payment).
