Transfer Students
Community College Graduate Scholarship
Selection Criteria: Applicants must have been offered admission
to Lee University, graduate of a community college, a minimum grade point
average of 3.00 on a 4.0 scale, and enrollment for full-time (12 credits or
more) study at Lee University are required. The award is in the amount of $3,000
and is awarded for one academic year. They must transfer to Lee after graduation
and have not attended another college since graduation from the community
college to be eligible.
No scholarship application is necessary. Final community college transcript with
graduation date is required for scholarship eligibility.
Deadlines: Must be offered admission for fall or spring semester to
qualify.
Transfer Encouragement Grant
Selection Criteria: Applicants must have been offered admission
to Lee University, must have completed 30 semester hours and be transferring
from a two-year or four-year institution with a minimum grade point average of
3.00 on a 4.0 scale. To be eligible you must be enrolled in full-time (12
credits or more) study at Lee University. The award is in the amount of $2,000
and is awarded for one academic year.
No scholarship application is necessary. All final college transcripts with
cumulative GPA are required for scholarship eligibility. First-time freshman
with dual enrolled hours are not eligible for the award.
Deadlines: Must be offered admission for fall or spring semester to
qualify.
Honor Scholarship The Honor's Scholarship
is awarded to any incoming applicant or returning
student who has passed a minimum of 30 semester hours,
whose cumulative GPA is at least 3.70 and who is
currently enrolled as a full-time student. The
scholarship provides $2010 for each semester awarded.
This scholarship can be utilized in an unlimited number
of semesters as long as all criteria mentioned above are
met. Students returning to Lee after graduation for
recertification or enrichment classes are still eligible
to use this scholarship if all requirements are met.
