Extension Classes

Extension classes are offered (in a classroom setting) at various off-campus locations for students who are unable to attend sessions on campus.  The classes are taught by instructors who have an accredited degree in the discipline in which they teach.  These classes qualify for resident credit.  For information regarding class locations and schedules contact Extension Programs in the CAPS office or visit the class schedules webpage, by clicking, here.

Presently, courses are being offered in Birmingham, Alabama, and Louisville, Kentucky. Please contact the CAPS office for specific addresses.

Dr Summerlin plays the piano and volunteers in her church orchestra. She and her husband of 28 years, Terry, have two sons, Nicholas and Justin. She is also the proud grandmother of Mason, 9; Morgan, 3; and Maddox, 6 months.
