A computerized student advising form is prepared for each student upon enrollment in the program. The form is designed to show the student exactly which courses must be taken to complete a degree. The form is updated with the completion of each semester and a copy is mailed to the student.
Grades and quality points are assigned and recorded as follows:
A - Excellent (4 quality points per semester hour) B.- Good (3 quality points per semester hour) C - Average (2 quality points per semester hour) D - Passing (1 quality point per semester hour) F - Failure (no quality points awarded) W - Indicates withdrawal I - Indicates the student's work is incomplete
The grade of "I" becomes "F" if work is not completed by the end of the following semester.
