Prayer Requests |
The office of campus ministries will be
honored to pray over specific prayer
requests as they are submitted to our
office. When permission is granted
according to the guidelines below, the
prayer requests can be sent to all the
staff and faculty on the campus for them
to join us in prayer. If you would like
to send us a prayer request, please send
it to
campusministries@leeuniversity.edu. |

Lee University Prayer Request Policy
The Campus Pastor’s Office receives and
forwards many prayer requests to
everyone on the Lee University campus.
Scriptures encourage us to carry the
burdens of one another, and we want to
continue to provide this service. Due to
changing HIPAA requirements (Health
Insurance and Portability and
Accountability Act), we must become more
cautious in what we share from the
Campus Pastor’s Office.
Prayer requests can only be shared with
the Lee Family if the request has been
verified by an immediate family member.
If an immediate family member requests
that information is to be shared with
the entire campus, please note it as
follows:
- If the prayer request may be
shared (with the Lee Family), it is
very important to type the following
in the subject line: “Prayer Request
to be Shared.” These will be
forwarded to the Lee Family, as soon
as possible, so our family can begin
prayer regarding the request.
- However, if permission has not
been granted by an immediate family
member and if it does not include
“Prayer Request to be Shared” in the
Subject line, we will assume that
the request is not to be shared. The
request will only be prayed over in
our office among our prayer groups.
It will not be forwarded to the Lee
Family.
- Also, please help us make sure
that the information in the request
is appropriate to send out to
everyone. Please carefully think
through the information given to the
Lee University family. At times, it
would be best to not share critical,
personal details in the prayer
request. If for some reason you want
to give the Campus Pastor’s Office
more information than everyone is to
receive, please notate that in the
email, as well. Please understand
that it will be necessary for the
Campus Pastor’s Office to edit the
requests in order to give everyone
the opportunity to be informed with
the most concise, pertinent
information available.
As always, the Campus Pastor’s Office
will strive to keep our campus informed
of any and all prayer needs. Our goal is
to make everyone aware of the needs in a
most appropriate and respectful way!
