Single students are required to occupy residence
halls until they are filled, unless living with
parents or relatives. Students are not normally
permitted to arrive earlier than 2 days prior to
registration. Students given permission and
arriving earlier than 2 days prior to
registration must pay for room and board. This
must be paid in cash to the residence director
and to the cafeteria. All freshman dormitory
students are required to eat in the university
cafeteria.
"Life in residence halls is great. We play
games in the hallway, we talk into the night,
share devotions, watch TV, and just bond with
each other. We'll spend Saturdays swimming at
the cliffs, hiking on the Appalachian Trail,
camping at Chilhowie, or rafting down the Ocoee.
. . Life is an adventure here. We have a blast
just creating fun."
