| There are two steps to becoming a registered
student at Lee University: Advance Class
Selection and Finalization of
Registration. Both are accomplished using
Lee Central, the online connection for all
current Lee students.
To access Lee Central, point your web browser
to the university home page,
www.leeuniversity.edu, and click "CURRENT
STUDENTS" from the menu across the top. On
the current student page, you will see a list of
resources. Choose "Login to Lee Central"
and follow the login instructions.
ADVANCE CLASS SELECTION
- Once logged on, click the tab "My
Academic Info". To select your classes
choose "Add or Drop Class". Use this feature
to secure your class schedule.
- Once complete, submit your class
schedule, using the procedure your advisor
has put into place. If you have not heard
from your advisor, e-mail your schedule to
him/her with a message requesting schedule
approval.
- Your class schedule must be approved by
your advisor in order to remain in the
system.
FINALIZE REGISTRATION
Once your class schedule has been approved
electronically by your advisor, the system will
be open for you to finalize your registration.
Lee Central will be open for you to finalize
your registration at a date set by the Business
Office. To finalize registration once it
opens:
- Click the "My Academic Info" tab;
then choose "Add/Drop Classes", select the semester you want to
finalize and then click on the "Finalize Registration" link
found just below the left of your class
schedule.
- Please review your preliminary bill to
verify that all charges are correct.
The financial aid information you are
viewing contains projected
awards.
- You have the option on the next screen to choose a parking fee or
to join intramural sports. If you choose
these, the fee will be added to your bill.
- Next, under the breakdown of your bill,
you may click the payment option that you
will be using. You will be able to make your
payment for the semester by either credit
card or by transferring money from your
checking account. These are secure online
transactions. If you are using your
financial aid, please click the "Deferred
Payment" option.
- If you have an outstanding balance from
a previous semester, you may not
finalize on line.
- After choosing your payment option,
review your bill for accuracy. You will need
to fill in the information concerning your
payment option. You will need to CONFIRM
that all information is correct.
- A summary of your charges will be
presented along with any financial aid
(grants, loans, scholarships, etc.) that is
available. A Promissory Note will be
presented for your acceptance. If you agree
with your bill and the policies and
procedures listed in the catalog, click
"Accept". Your financial information will
show your total balance, required down
payment, and the remaining balance of your
account. If you do not agree with your bill,
click "Decline". By clicking “Decline”, your
financial bill will not be finalized.
- Confirmation of your registration will
be made by a receipt for registration which
will be presented on the "PAYMENT RESULTS"
screen. You are not finalized until
the screen says Finalization Completed
Successfully. You will get a confirmation
number and should print this receipt as
proof of your registration.
- If you are in doubt as to whether you
are finalized, go to your Lee Central
account. Go under "Financial Information"
and then to "View My Bill". If your
bill shows DWNP REGISTRATION COMPLETE, you
are finalized. If the screen says "No Bill
is Available", you are not finalized.
