    Dr. LaBine comes to Lee from Cleveland State Community College where she most recently served as Professor and Director of Nursing. In this role, she was responsible for faculty, curriculum, and meeting all board of nursing and accreditation requirements. While contributing to the program in various faculty roles, both didactically and clinically, she also worked with the Tennessee Board of Regents, Deans and Directors to develop a statewide common curriculum for the associate’s degree programs in Tennessee. During her 16+ years with Cleveland State, she served on the Executive Committee with the Tennessee Board Regents Common Curriculum project for Community Colleges in Tennessee and on the Academic Council. Dr. LaBine was a Level 2 Advisor and she served on the Pathways Committee, Outcomes Assessment Committee and various other committees. Prior to her time at Cleveland State, she was the Chief Nursing Officer for Bradley Memorial Hospital in Cleveland, Tennessee. She has been a member of numerous professional associations and participated in presentations and conferences, including a recent presentation at the Tennessee Nurses Association. She is very active in her local community as a member on committees such as United Way, Family Resource Agency, and Head Start Advisory Committee where she was named Community Volunteer of the Year for 2016. Dr. LaBine holds a Ph.D. in Nursing from East Tennessee State University; a Master of Science in Nursing from University of Tennessee, Chattanooga; and the Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Tennessee, Chattanooga.
