    Ms. Jenkins comes to Lee from the Colorado Department of Education where she served as a Regional Nurse Specialist/Program Manager since 2009. She was responsible for researching, creating and presenting competency based chronic disease management courses and professional development for school and community health providers. She presented in diverse settings including local, state, and national forums for American School Health Association, Colorado Association for School Nurses and the Colorado Department of Education. Lynn partnered with the University of Colorado to create an eLearning template for delivering online chronic disease continuing education to school health providers. She also developed the diabetes resource nurse role in the Pikes Peak region. She has written and managed a $500,000 grant for statewide asthma management and standardized competency based education for school health teams. Her clinical nursing experiences range from Level 3 newborn intensive care, stepdown medical surgical care, rehabilitation nursing, homecare, and management of a long term care facility. Ms. Jenkins received the Master of Science in Nursing, Nursing Education from Colorado Christian University; and the Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wright State University.
