She is a Career Ladder III teacher and has served as president of the Ocoee Music Teachers.  She has served on the steering committee for the SACS review and on a visiting team for SACS.  She has been a workshop presenter for Cleveland City Schools and in the summer music workshops for the Tennessee Department of Education.
