    Dr. Brenda Moye’s career spans many years of professional playing and teaching in both the United States and Europe. She is instructor of saxophone, saxophone ensembles, woodwind techniques and music technology at Lee University.

    Moye holds the Bachelor of Music in Saxophone Performance and the Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. She also holds the Master of Music in Saxophone Performance and the Doctor of Musical Arts in Performance with a minor in Music Education from the University of Arizona. Post-doctoral studies include time in Germany and Austria.

    Moye was inducted into the Hall of Fame for the University of Miami at the Orange Bowl in Miami, Florida in 1999. She had two arrangements for saxophone published with Dorn Publications in 2015.

    As a saxophone composer, she has many arrangements available through Dorn Publications, and maintains an artist link with the publisher. She currently maintains an extensive freelance performance career in addition to teaching.
