Brad Moffett joined the Department of Vocal Music in the Fall of 2006 as an assistant professor of music. He returns to Lee after graduating in 1992 with a bachelor’s degree in music.

Moffett went on to receive his master’s degree in sacred music and choral conducting from Georgia State University and his doctorate in worship studies from the Institute for Worship Studies in Orange Park, Fl.

Moffett has been teaching part-time in the Lee University School of Music since 2003 and has also served the Mount Paran North Church of God in Marietta, Ga. as the Director of Music and Fine Arts.

Moffett is the author of The Great Fifty Day: A Devotional from Easter to Pentecost and was a contributor to the Ultimate Idea Book for Music Ministry. He was a nominee for the Church of God Outstanding Minister of Music and was honored in the National Religious Week Association Top Fifteen Ministers of Music.

He currently serves as a member of the Church of God International Department of Music Ministries/Spiritsound Music Group Board of Directors, the Church of God North Georgia State Music Committee, and the Church of God National Music Advisory Committee. He has been the worship leader at Church of God State and International meetings such as prayer conferences, camp meetings, general assemblies and Promise Keepers events. He has been a regular guest speaker at Music Explosion, Music Explosion West, Music California and The Ultimate Idea Book for Music Ministry Seminars. He has taught at worship seminars at local churches and regional church gatherings in the United States, Russia and Romania. 

His recordings include Portraits of Christmas, Times of Refreshing and Worship Live, Mount Paran North.

Moffett is married to Melissa.
