Religion Core
Because of its emphasis on an education both general and Christian in its scope and content, and because of its emphasis on religion and preparation for Christian living, Lee University requires a common core of religion courses for all students. This core consists of eighteen hours as follows:
| BIB 110: |
Message of the New Testament (3) |
| BIB 111: |
Message of the Old Testament (3) |
| THE 230: |
Introduction to Theology (3) |
| THE 331: |
Introduction to Christian Ethics (3) |
| REL 200: |
Foundations of Benevolence (1)
Christian Service Credits (2) |
| Capstone: |
Capstone Course or Departmental Religion Elective (3) |
Each full-time student must be enrolled in a religion course every semester until the total requirement is completed. If a student has taken a religion course during summer school, this credit may be applied to a following semester.
By virtue of completing eighteen (18) semester hours of religion, every student graduating from Lee University earns a minor in religion.
