Educational Specialist Degree

The Educational Specialist Program is designed for dedicated teachers and administrators who would like to advance their skills and knowledge with a degree above the master’s level. This program offers emphases in Classroom Teaching and Educational Leadership. The Classroom Teaching program is based on the five core propositions of the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. This program will encourage continued excellence in the classroom and facilitate the teacher’s application for National Board Certification, if desired. The Educational Leadership program is designed to provide leaders with the training needed to navigate through today’s educational laws, regulations, and best practices in order to make informed decisions at the administrative level in today’s schools and district offices.
