Teacher Education Program Admission by Appeal
For students who have failed the Praxis I or have GPA below 2.5:
- Must have failed test(s) twice.
- Must meet all other admission requirements.
- Must come to the Teacher Education Office and hand write a one-two page essay entitled, “Why I Think I Should Be Admitted to the Teacher Education Program”.
- Must have participated in Praxis I workshop or individual tutoring sessions.
- Must make a personal appearance before the Teacher Education Committee.
- Must be approved by majority vote of the Teacher Education Committee.
