    Dr. Schlosser received her Doctorate in Chemistry Education from Purdue University in 2012, and joined the Lee University Faculty in the spring of that year. She teaches Principles of General Chemistry, General Chemistry I, General Chemistry II, Physical Science, Principles of Organic and Biochemistry, and Introduction to General, Organic, & Biochemistry for the Department of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. Dr. Schlosser also teaches courses for the Education Department that focus on Teaching Science and Mathematics for grades 6 to 12. Her research interests include maximizing the potential of tools and resources students use to learn chemistry.

    Dr. Schlosser works with students and teachers on research and design projects related to engaging elementary through college age students with science to maximize learning.  She serves as an advisor for Biology and Chemistry Education students.  Dr. Schlosser also works with promoting the integration of mathematics and science.  One way she seeks to do this is through her involvement with students in the National Science Foundation funded Integrated Mathematics and Science Scholars (iMASS) program.
