    Jennifer Cornett, lecturer in mathematics, has been a part-time math professor for Lee University since August 2012. Prior to coming to Lee, she served six years as a part-time faculty member in the Mathematics Department at Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, Connecticut. She also served as an advisor to the graduate students as they completed their action research capstone projects in the Master of Arts in Teaching Program at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut.  Additionally, Cornett has served as a free-lance math copy editor for various companies for five years.

     

    Cornett earned her Education Specialist (EdS) and Bachelor of Science (BS) from Lee University and her Master of Arts (MA) from Georgia State University. At Lee, Jennifer teaches the developmental math courses. She is also a sponsor of the Greek club Omega Alpha Phi.
