DR. KELLY LUMPKIN
Assistant Professor of Athletic
In 2005, after seven
years of service with Lee , Dr. Kelly Lumpkin was appointed director
of the Athletic Training Education Program in the Department of Health,
Exercise Science, and Secondary Education within the Helen DeVos College of
Prior to coming to
Lee, Lumpkin served as a certified athletic trainer at Cleveland State
Community College and Martin Methodist College. She holds a PhD in human
performance from Middle Tennessee State Univeristy, a master's degree in
exercise science from Slippery Rock University, and a bachelor's degree in
biology from Austin Peay State University.
She is married to Dan,
head women's basketball coach at Cleveland State Community College, and they
have three children, Danny, MiKayla, and Jordan.
