• Required of all English majors.
• Writing portfolios must be submitted on December 2nd of the year preceding the student's graduation.
• The department uses the portfolio to assess each graduate's writing ability.
• A copy of each student's portfolio evaluation will be placed in their file.

The portfolio consists of the student's three best papers in the discipline (written for 300- or 400- level classes).
