Department of Behavioral and Social Sciences

The Department of Behavioral and Social Sciences focuses on the study of human behavior and society. Students prepare for graduate studies, careers and ministry through studies taught from a Christian perspective. If you are planning for a career in social services, counseling, archaeology, research, law, business, medicine, education, ethnic and immigrant organizations, or government this is the department for you. The mission of this department is to increase students’ knowledge of individual behavior, expand their understanding of culture, and to prepare students for a rapidly changing social world.

We offer majors in Psychology, Sociology, and Anthropology. In addition, we offer a new interdisciplinary major in Healthcare Administration for students who are interested in leading and serving others in healthcare settings. We offer minors in Counseling, Social Work, Child and Family Studies, Psychology, Sociology, and Anthropology.
