The Lee University family appreciates diversity in
many areas. Not only do we attract students from
around the country and around the world, but we also
attract students from many different religious
backgrounds.
We at Lee are proud of our heritage as a Church of
God sponsored institution; however, we strive to
maintain our sense of openness and acceptance to
Christians of many denominations. Here are just a
few of the religious affiliations represented:
Church of God of Prophecy, Assembly of God, Baptist,
Catholic, Methodist, Independent/Non-denominational,
and Presbyterian. Our chapel services reflect our
diversity as well, since the range of different
ministers demonstrates a wide variety of worship
styles.
Our diversity also extends to geography. We have
students traveling to Lee from 48 of our fifty
states, but it doesn't stop there. Extending past
the United States borders, Lee students leave home
from fifty seven different countries. Some of our
more frequent points of origin include the Bahamas,
Nigeria, South Africa, Korea, Honduras, and the
Ukraine, which reveals the ethnic richness of our
student body. |
