A Top-Tier, Christ-Centered Experience

Welcome to Lee University, in scenic southeast Tennessee, where the Tennessee River carves through the Appalachian foothills. We offer well over 150 programs of study from associates to doctoral degrees, but our original focus – and still our mission more than a century later – is to create a safe but challenging environment in which our students can develop and prepare for a complex and demanding world.

Expect
Something
Great

We have a phrase around Lee, Expect Something Great. We think the college experience should be much more than just academic excellence. At Lee, we expect our students to experience transformational relationships with faculty, with other students, in campus life, and as they move into their calling.

Bethany Reinsch

Bethany Reinsch is a Spanish and English writing double major with a minor in linguistics from Nashville, Tennessee. She currently serves as the vice president of events for Kairos Scholars Honors Program and Editor-in-Chief of Lee Review. She also works in Lee’s Global Perspectives Office, which helps students plan their cross-cultural trips. “I cannot express how glad I am to be around such a great group of people around campus; each one adds to my Lee experience every day!” After graduating, Bethany plans to go on to grad school and earn a master’s degree or doctorate in linguistics, with hopes to later work as a translator, writer, or publisher.
